Traveling from France in 1978, Bernard found his home in Napa California as a Winemaker. During these years of winemaking there was an intriguing interest with experimenting different ways of using Oak. Bernard’s combined vision and exhaustive experimentation with this wood led to the products which are today, instrumental to many of the big name wineries in Napa. Over the next 20 years Bernard solidified his reputation as evidenced by the awards his peers in the wine industry presented to him:
